The protagonist of this movie Babu Maruti who works as a killer for hire in the city of Lucknow where he lives with his wife Kaaliya who does not know about his murderous profession. On one such occasion when they are about to separate he tells her that if she wants him to stop then they will have to either leave the city or change professions. After a lot of emotional turmoil Kaaliya gets a job in a school that is run by a person named Professor Khan, who is very close to Babu Maruti. When they meet again the next day she tells him that she has accepted his offer and they will relocate to Gurgaon. Thereafter, Babu Maruti visits the professor's house and meets with Kaaliya's friend Nandini. He meets her mother Mrs. Sundari and also learns that her father has passed away four years ago. He looks around the house and is left impressed with how well it has been kept up since his last visit to the place. Meanwhile, in Gurgaon, Babu Maruti begins seeing a reflection of Kaaliya when he looks at the water tank outside the house. The reflection is of a girl crouched in a bathtub with a mirror. On meeting her he finds out that she is actually a widow with four children and has been living there with her husband for over seven years. A few days later Babu Maruti meets an old associate named Jai Chander who gives him a small bag of money to take to the professor's house in Lucknow. He arrives at the professor's house and looks for Kaaliya there but does not find her anywhere. On entering the bathroom he finds it empty and is startled when he sees a reflection of his own face in the mirror. He is again shocked when Kaaliya's reflection disappears from the tank outside and he is left looking at his own face in the water. The film has been shot in Gurgaon and Lucknow and has been made on a budget of Rs 60 lakhs. The film was released on 18 September 2017, and received mixed reviews from critics.
